The Watkins Award California Regional Scholar Athletes Award Luncheon 2015

The Franklin D. Watkins Award for Scholar Athletes has been presented for the past 24 years. The award is the Most Prestigious Award Given to the Top African American Male High School Scholar Athlete in the Nation Our California Chapter honors several High School Senior Scholar Athletes in California. This year we will be hosting up to 100 elementary and middle school youth for this event. Our purpose beyond honoring the awardees is to provide mentoring and meaningful interaction for the impressionable youth.
The Luncheon will be convening at the A-Man, Inc Learning and Science Center—Conference Facility on Saturday, January 17, 2015 in the Los Angeles community of Inglewood, CA..
The event will include a tour of the Science and Learning Center, and luncheon on Saturday, with a Keynote presentation by Mark Campbell, President of Bridell Institute. Bridell Institute is a academic tutoring center in Thousand Oaks, California.
