Super Bowl Charity Event in Phoenix for Watkins Award for Scholar Athletes

Phoenix, AZ – January 21, 2015 – The Pressroom in downtown Phoenix will host current and former NFL players to benefit the National Alliance of African American Athletes (NAAAA) and Visions of Veterans (VOV).

The event will be held on Thursday, January 29. Doors will open at 7:00 PM to music by DJ Correct and DJ Robert Michael. Professional athletes, including present and past NFL greats, will attend to sign autographs and mingle with fans. Proceeds for the event will benefit NAAAA “Watkins Award” for Scholar Athletes and Visions of Veterans, both 501c3 organizations.

The players slated to attend include host Kerwyn Williams of the Arizona Cardinals, NAAAA Watkins Award Alumni, including, Ted Ginn Jr., of the Arizona Cardinals; Ben Tate of the Pittsburgh Steelers; DeVier Posey of the Houston Texans; Maurice Alexander of the St. Louis Rams, and many others.
